Baby's First Tidy: Gina's Closet Boutique

We here at Tidy Fairy want to give a big big thank you to our fabulous friend, Gina, for being the first person to hire us for a tidy last year! While we had both done tidy jobs individually, Gina is the one who made us official! Gina had a closet full of AMAZING clothes and accessories (mostly vintage!). The only problem was, her closet and drawers had grown so full over time that she couldn't get to all the great stuff she had. So she invited us over to help her to shop her own closet, decide which pieces bring her joy now, and organize everything for an increase in ease of use! Unfortunately, we didn't take a ton of pictures at this tidy party (we got too engrossed in decluttering!), but here are a few shots to give you an idea of the work the three of us did together!

First, we took EVERYTHING out of the closet and drawers, and sorted it throughout the house by category. Then we worked through each category, one piece at a time, deciding what still sparked joy for Gina as who she is right now, today. ​ She did awesome work and let go of so many pieces that had finished their time with her! We were able to entirely get rid of several pieces of storage furniture that were crowding up her closet as she no longer needed them after her discard!
